Double-pole Steel Pipe Pole

The double-pole steel pipe pole is also named double-column steel pipe pole or portal-type steel pipe pole. It consists of two independent tapered or straight-seam steel pipes, which are assembled into a portal frame structure with cross beams, diaphragm supports and connecting fittings.

It is mainly composed of two main steel pipe poles, upper and lower connecting cross beams, flange plates, reinforced supports and foundations. It features high overall rigidity, excellent anti-overturning and wind resistance performance, and more uniform stress bearing than single-pole pipe poles.

It is widely used in 110kV, 220kV, 330kV power transmission and distribution lines, especially suitable for large-angle turning, strain section, terminal section, as well as crossing highways, rivers and narrow residential corridors. With small floor space and neat structure, it is commonly adopted in municipal and rural power grid projects.
